Families are important
If we look around and are honest, we can see that a child needs a mother and a father to grow up healthy and fully actualized. Whatever we can do to plan for and support complete families, and repair incomplete ones, will help individual family members, the community, and the…
Take a chance
Progress involves risk that you will fail, look foolish, or even go backwards. But not risking anything guarantees that you will not progress. Try. Even if it doesn't work out the first time, keep trying. You can do it.
Weight
What happened? Who did what in the past that you're still carrying around everywhere you go? Isn't it time to forgive? Your judgements about whether they deserve to be forgiven are missing the point. Don't YOU deserve to be released? Forgive and let it go. Free yourself. Be…

What have you been thinking about? In this of course, you have a choice.

Yes
Absolutely!
Well said.
You are absolutely right! And the biggest mistake is that people think it will always be EASY and sometimes it’s just hard work…that is worth it in the end! 🙂
This is huge! We need to celebrate and defend families. Societies work so hard to fix problems that probably would be prevented if everyone had a mommy and daddy–or people stepping up to fill the gap.
Right on Larry! It is up to us to re-ignite the value of the family and family values.
You could not be more right!
Families are so fundamental in society; you’re completely right. It’s sad that modern American teenage culture disregards family and parental values. I wish there were a way to reverse this trend.
Being a single dad is a challenge but having the ability to adapt. To any situation and to absorb inspiration from you and Josjh Smitj i manage well. Thanks again Larry
Yes ! that is part of the original design. Anything we can do helps restore that.
I truly believe in family no matter what. when family’s do things together, and most of all EAT DINNER together this is a strong base. I truly believe parents should always be with their children. somehow, someway. come home from school a parent should be there. I could go on and on, but take care, be happy, stay healthy.
I am also incomplete without my family! They are often the inspiration behind my hard work and never quit mentality. I am now seeing those same traits in my sons and my daughter. I learned long ago to choose to show love even when it is not always given back in the same measure or in the time I want it. My wife has amazing strengths where I am not & vise versa. My kids also stretch me to experience things that are not naturally my interest so my exposure to new things is quite broad. I am better because of my family in good times and bad times. We have laughed and cried together!!! To me it live is to experience life with my family!
Absolutely correct!
Absolutely you are correct! Is there any wonder society seems to be crumbling around us, all over the world? Strong families make a strong community and have been the backbone of civilization for thousands of years. When a child doesn’t have a Mom and a Dad, to teach values, and instill faith, stability, emotional health, the world suffers. We have to defend and support pro family values more than ever.
Yes, no doubt
Yes, absolutely. In Scouting, which strives to serve all youth, we notice that members who have the support of both a mother and father, are the members who get the most out of the program.
