How’s that going?

Perfect thought making machine?

We tend to believe every thought we have. But that’s to say that we are a perfect thought making machine – and if we consider that, we can see it is far from the truth.  Were the thoughts we had 15 years ago perfect?  Were all our opinions and ideas correct then?  How about last year?  How about now?

Consider that you don’t know it all, you don’t have it all figured out yet, and you never will.  Ths allows you to stay open, and hold your thoughts with a loose grip – best you lock them into false beliefs that will not serve you well.

Don’t believe every thought you think.

Psychological Sunshine

When we are up against a challenge, chasing big difficult goals, or just having a tough time for any reason, we have to make sure we keep our spirits up, and not take ourselves or anything too seriously for too long.

Do something everyday that makes you happy.  Be around people that are fun or funny.  Do some of what you love, or just get outside into the fresh air.

Get some psychological sunshine – everyday.

The "ordinary" crowd

By definition, the crowd is ordinary.  If you want to be extraordinary, you have to break away from what everyone else is doing and how everyone else lives, and do something that causes greater results in a given area or your life.  

Breaking away from ordinary habits, routines, rituals, behavior, and expectations can put you out of your comfort zone – but that’s where all your dreams are.

Look important/feel important/be important

If you look (dress) important, you will think important, feel important, and others will help you by treating you important.

Do you look important?

Wake up excited!

Do you wake up excited?  Are you out of your comfort zone often?  Is failure your friend?  

Do you want change in your life?  Do you model growth using the example of others around you?

Do others expect you to grow?  Do YOU expect you to grow?

Sleep like a baby

If you don’t sleep well at night, try this –

Start working out. You could run or lift some weights. Something to where your body is taxed a bit.

Try it. You’ll sleep like a baby!

Are you in a growth environment?

Are you in a place where others are ahead of you?  Are you continually challenged?  Is your focus forward?

Is your atmosphere affirming? 

The water you swim in makes a big difference in what progress you make.
