Communication in relationships

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

Sometimes we communicate less with those who are closest to us because we think we know each other so well we don’t have to talk much.

Of course, that’s not true.  We need to talk more with those closest to us, so they stay close to us.

Right?

Pete Burgess

You’re right Larry. Do not take for granted the goodwill you have built with anyone. They, or you, may not be here tomorrow to rebuild that goodwill. Complacency is a form of selfishness.

Nice picture of the Bates. I’m grateful I found the time to get to know them better in Cancun

That is so true; the people we hold most dear; are the ones we take advantage of most.

George Craddock

As people on the move and in a hurry we often forget the ‘art’ of communication. God placed us here to help and serve each other. We will never know what people need and how we can help until we ask direct and thoughtful questions.

Casey

I agree, Red2DES.
