The opposite of love is hate. If we love something, we hate what threatens it.
We may talk to a nice person at a party, but when we find out they are our competitor, we hate them.
In my experience, this emotion is unnecessary, and just makes the ride more unpleasant. Compete like a soldier, but not because you want to beat them – but because you want to win, and serve that customer.
Hate is baggage. Leave it out.
You have a great weekend also Larry ! I know I’ll get my gardens ready and take my wife out for a ride in my( ours:) 77 MGB with the top down!
Amen.
Listen to your book on my morning walks. Thank you.
Great thought. Like any negative thinking, our mind is consumed with thoughts we prefer not having.
As always, Thank You!
I agree, one of my former “competitors” is now my business partner. We serve a huge market. We often have more in common with or competitors, in terms of achieving success, than we think. I always try to find the ground where we both succeed.
