Let’s go upstream of motivation to see its source. This is what I see; motivation comes from desire.
Desire is the feeling that accompanies an unsatisfied state; when you want something you don’t have yet. That’s desire.
But where does “desire” come from?
I’ll tell you where – tomorrow.
Desire! Think daily on this 🙂 Larry, I will add a link on my company website and on a news letter for your ” Think Daily” message ! Never thought about doing that:) But I do tell people and they love it !
Larry, slick move today! I’ve been receiving your daily blogs for over a year and enjoy them immensely. The reason I commented today was I noticed that you did exactly what you challenged in your other blog, namely, that you tried to grow exponentially three times by adding three new subscribers for each subscriber you have today. The cool thing is that it doesn’t sound like that much work to have everybody add three, but the outcomes are enormous Keep up the great work… Scott
It seems that my desire to know where motivation comes from is the motivation to check my e-mail tomorrow??
Yet I know that my one desire is to inspire and maintain the inner fire. “Thats so cheesy” … one may think but really a lot of what you pitch in the think daily act as tool to keep that inner fire burning…..
