Your own nature is something to be overcome.
We have flaws. Likely we are most of these – lazy, envious, negative, jealous, egotistical, ignorant, moody, self-doubting, self-destructive, indifferent, and more. We may be heavier on some flaws than others.
Overcoming our inherent character flaws is imperative to living a full, rewarding and adventurous life in our time.
Character flaws are a natural part of one’s personality. Depending on how it affects others, you can consciously take the necessary steps to change OR accept it as part of who you are. There is this saying that “We all have issues that we need to deal with.” No matter how much of a well-rounded person one thinks they are, the fact remains, that nobody is perfect.
I would rather see our “flaws” as something else. The Myers Briggs personality profile plots the way you present yourself to the world. You may be an extreme extrovert or introvert or somewhere in between. The trick is to KNOW your proclivities and use this knowledge to your advantage. A team with all the same personality type would not be a successful team. The thinker/analytical mind can develop a business plan, but the intuitive can forecast how this will be best received.Know your strengths, and value the differences that others bring to the table. Nice one for me. I think a a lot has to do with how I was domesticated in this world by others who influenced me on the way. Who is the real me? I would like to find that out by stripping those flaws away. Does that make sense?
