“Nobody, as long as he moves about among the chaotic currents of life, is without struggle.” – Carl Jung
People in the business community say I am very successful, and some think it’s easy for me. People outside of the business community often look at the results we have achieved and some think it’s all peaches and rainbows for me.
But here’s the reality – Because I haven’t and will not coast, and I continue to strive to make a greater difference in the world, I struggle like you do. I have dark, frustrating moments nearly everyday. I work to stay focused on priorities, manage my time well, and deal with the myriad of issues that come my way despite my successful efforts to build a great team and delegate. Finding the right balance takes daily course corrections.
Life is good for you and me, yes, but not perfect. And it’s only good if we control our thoughts and work to make it good.
Good morning, great post! I appreciate the input, not because I’m glad you that you have daily struggles, but it’s just good to hear that the things I seem to go through might be “normal”.
Something like” the grass is always greener on the other side” :))) RIGHT!
I couldn’t agree more!
Very well said!
Well said Larry.
People don’t know and appreciate the dedication it takes to reach the accomplishments that you have obtained.
Another reason we all need a good network to review ideas, and to pump us up when we have the moments that we struggle.
This further emphasizes that it’s a journey, not a destination.
Be sure you’re enjoying the ride!
Thanks Lar.
Finally some rain…and that did not come easy.
Thank you for sharing what most will not!
Thanks for all the encouragement. It is easy to get frustrated with the struggles, sometimes feeling like you are the only one as you look at others with a great successful businesses. I know it did not come without struggles.
