You can’t be a great success in an endeavor and do whatever you want otherwise. If you are to be a great musician, businessperson, or any other specialist in any field, and stand out from the rest, you’ll have to make sacrifices.
You can’t socialize as much as others, spend much time on leisure, enjoy entertainment, go on casual trips or even spend as much time talking as others do. You’ll pay a price for your glory – if you achieve it. Whether that choice is worth it depends on what you see as valuable, what you enjoy, and who you are.
If it’s right, the sacrifice is a small price to pay.
Sometimes when a person feels like they are the only one they know digging for success, the work and sacrifices may seem larger than their desire to succeed. That’s why when networking with like-minded people who aspire to similar goals can inspire you to get past the difficult moments. Soon, your results from your persistence, serve as the motivation to continue and strive for the next level.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the Basement Systems 2013 Convention.
Sometimes when you share with like-minded people you have a paradigm shift that allows you to gain or regain your perch. To see the world from a new or higher perspective.
Steve Jobs called that “Connecting the Dots” and that is what we do best at convention. Thanks, Larry and the entire Basement Systems team!
