Tell your People what you want

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

All activity in your business can be expressed as a number.  Measure what you want to improve.  But here’s the thing – you have to tell your team what you want to improve!

How can anyone hit a target they don’t know is there, or don’t know they should be aiming at?

Andrea

I want to ask my team about voluntary exchange and have them describe how it bennefits each member. Ideas are valuable but also is delivery.

Andrea

We charge our friends for offered services as well. Can someone remind me why is that a good idea and how it bennefits both parties?

Andrea

I want to be able to stay financially independent which requires me to charge for my time and services offered. We do not live in a dreamworld regardless how appealing that may be at times. I do not want alms, I want a job with a fair pay for my valuable input.

Andrea

I am not Mother Theresa.

A good boss/leader is proactive. If good work, talent or extra input goes unnoticed and uncompensated those leaders will loose valuable manpower and input and earn an X going forward on their score card. The choice is yours.
