No matter what your standard of living, people will always complain about some inconvenience or something they think is “not right”.
Whether you are at the bottom, or driving a Maserati, it’s the nature of most people to find the exceptions to their good luck and focus on it.
It’s a good habit to count your blessings – often. Gratitude attracts more good into your life.
You were born at this time in human history – you hit the jackpot.
If you have your health – you are really lucky.
And if you happen to live in a free country, especially the United States, you live in the land of milk and honey.
The rest is up to you.

I read the newspaper daily, and most o the news is about all the negative and horrible things happening in the world. I like to keep informed, but taking some moments to be grateful for living in this country, my home, my family, my health, my friends nourishes my soul. I am also grateful for my nephew Larry’s daily words of wisdom!

Grievances and regrets can completely consume our mental, emotional and physical energies, if we let it. Without them we are free to utilize all of our abilities to create and produce great things! Gratitude is the best way to squash grievances and eliminate regrets. No matter what, there is always something to be grateful for!
My mother used to joke on bad days, “If this were death, I’d sign on the dotted line.”
Meaning, no matter how bad your day is going, you’re blessed to still be alive.
