People know when there is something wrong. If you don’t acknowledge it, you weaken your leadership because they know you are not telling the truth.
When leaders don’t tell the truth it may be because they are the cause, there is some wrong doing going on, or they do not have the will to fix it. Hopefully, that is not you. Leaders have to have the will to attack problems.
While you don’t have to share every detail, tell them what is going on and what the organization’s challenges are. By being honest, you will maintain your credibility, and you can take the next step in asking for their help to fix it.
I love September as well! AND CN Live!
Go, September!
Transparency with your team can be uncomfortable but is invaluable.
No matter how hard the truth is, tell it. We win more when the truth is presented!
The big event is always exciting. Our Indy team looks forward to it every year.
Works very well too! Work on what’s most important and delegate what can be delegated.
