When someone says to a business owner “you have enough. Why struggle and go for more?”
Here are answers that I think are unhealthy –
“The world will approve of me and like me more if I do better.”
“I will be happier with more money.”
“Because I am afraid of poverty or losing.”
Here are healthy answers –
“Because I want to and I can.”
“Because I am up for the personal challenge of seeing what I can do.”
“Because I want to make an even greater impact.”
“Because it’s fun. I love to learn and solve problems and ultimately win.”
“Because I have talents given to me that need to be put to use in service to the world.”
What is your answer?
Because there are more people that we can help with the services we provide!
Because I want to see how big of an impact we can have!
Because I want to see what the best version of me can look like.
Because I am curios how I can serve my world with the resources that more gives me.
Because more is possible and I want to see what that is.
I love and agree with your reasons Larry and those of the others mentioned above! It’s great to see Mr. Cantey up there from my home state! He did some work for us in the past and did a great job!
Here are some of my reasons:
Because I want to continually increase my ability to help others.
Because I want to set the example for my family and anyone else watching of being a productive contributor to society.
Because my products and services are better than most of my competition and I want more people to be able to enjoy them.
Because if I’m not growing I’m shrinking.
I like and agree with your answers and would add “because I want to help more people.”
Because I enjoy what I do and seeing positive impact.
Because there is unlimited room for improvement.
Because I’m the 2nd generation and want to empower the 3rd and our team members who are in “will” camp.
My answer is simply this: I really enjoy what I do. I get my self worth out of helping others! For me, treating people with respect and earning it back, is a great deal of joy. I try to do more and more growth every day so that I can help more people.
Because somebody said it was impossible so I need to do it to confirm that it can and will be done…and you bet they will eat there words!!!!
