Are you a victim? Are you behind? Are you underperforming? Are you guilty? Are you unhappy?
There is a powerful tool you have, that you may have been misusing against yourself to say.
It’s the words you use to describe your situation.
What words do you use to describe your situation to yourself and others?
Good morning! A good day starts with a good message to you, by you. Having a good day is a choice, it’s not by luck that they happen! You make it happen for you! I tell myself every morning that I AM GOING to have a good day.
Words are everything. How you think them, say them and write them.
”I get to” not “I have to” makes a big difference!
Once you realize that everything and everyone around you is no smarter than you. That YOU alone are responsible for your outcomes. And lastly, that failing in pursuit of something is apart of learning. There is nothing that can prevent you from winning. Get out of your own way, Accept the challenge, and go!
Life is easier if you approach everything as a challenge instead of a problem and fully believe that there is a good solution to every challenge. It’s how I think and it’s how I raised my children. When challenges present themselves we immediately go into problem solving mode. We don’t cast blame, we don’t berate, we don’t go into the “would have’s, should have’s”. My grandfather likes to say “No use crying over spilt milk, clean it up and move on.”
Thanks for one more day and one more opportunity.
