Problem Solver-in-Chief

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

Leaders get the hard problems nobody else can solve or is empowered to solve.

Of course, the more you empower others to solve problems on the spot, the less of them you get.

The more you push for change and improvement and growth, the more “problems” you will have.

Problems, challenges and obstacles are the way to grow and get better.

No problems, no growth.

Problems that keep repeating themselves means you have not solved the cause of the problem yet.

Eat challenges like energy bars.  Especially the big ones.  Face them.  Solve them and love solving them.

They are the way.

Thanks, Larry. Very timely – aligns with what I’ve been thinking about since I woke up… How do we stop having the same problems…?
The ‘solutions’ obviously aren’t working if we’re having the same problems.
Take Care, have a Great Day, and enjoy just being a pretty cool guy 🙂👍

The challenge I see most leaders facing, is letting go. You can’t lead and micromanage. They are inherently the inverse of each other. Leadership is not being in charge of people, it is taking care of people “in your charge”. If you’re in a leadership position for your company, are you promoting success through those in your charge or are you micromanaging a version of you?
