Leaders are Decisive

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

If I can solve ten years of problems in five years haven’t I doubled progress?

If I can get ten years of results in five years, haven’t doubled my financial results?

But what if I make decisions slowly, in say twice the amount of time as it should or could take?

What if I decided to take X course of action (try this) on June 30 instead of June 10.  (Maybe I was busy, not focused; busy doing too many lower value activities, not ready for change, had paralysis of analysis, was AFRAID to make the wrong decision…)

And what if I delayed most decisions like that over a career?

Making good decisions in a timely manner is the job of the leader.

“The best decision is the right decision.  The second best decision is the wrong decision.  The worst decision is no decision.” -Winston Churchill

Go, Ross.

I really needed this message – I am struggling to make some very critical decisions and I feel paralyzed.
Regarding summer plans, we are heading to the UP of Michigan tomorrow and looking forward to it!

GOOOO ROSSSS!!!!

We’ll be heading to a couple baseball games. Then to Saratoga and Mystic. Hoping it rains during the week instead of the weekend for a change.

This is a little off the subject of this post but I wanted to share this. I was at a leader workshop yesterday and heard a great quote that I really liked that you can use if you want. Not sure if it came from this speaker or if was a quote from someone else but he said, “You cannot effectively lead anyone until you can effectively lead yourself and you will be the hardest to lead.”
