Make Winner's Mistakes

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

People who are growing and getting better are always making mistakes.  But not the same mistakes over and over, and not dumb easily avoidable mistakes.

They aren’t making mistakes of poor character, poor taste, and sloth very often.  They don’t make the same mistakes over and over.  And they look around and learn from others as much as possible so they don’t have to make the same mistakes.

The mistakes winners make are learning mistakes.  They are trying new things.  Experimenting.  Putting new things into practice.  They are adjusting quickly to get it right.

What kind of mistakes are you making?

Explain the photo, please.

I snapped this photo on the NJ turnpike. A Porsche in flames. I try to match the photos I have collected in my library to the message, but I don’t have unlimited options. I thought this would be a good post to use this one in. A winner might drive a Porsche, and make mistakes.
