A pinch of insanity

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

People who are “unreasonable” and do things because they don’t know you can’t or aren’t supposed to can be valuable on your team.  They think differently, and thinking always precedes action.

If you want change, improvement, and to try new things, lay out the problem clearly, and let the team, including the “crazies”, try to figure it out.

Thank you Larry, good morning

looking forward to hearing about the Baja!

Chris

I had a manager and she would always say “you aren’t doing your job unless you are breaking a little glass once in a while.” She would also say “ask for forgiveness later.” And whenever I was anxious speaking to an executive on the phone, she reminded me “they put their pants on to go to work just like you.” With her leadership style, employees took risks and a lot of cool things surfaced making it a better company. This was in 1995!
