When we are learning, we expect to mess up before we get it right.
Some things we can learn in a few minutes. Some things take months.
Some things come in long wave patterns over lots of years.
If we come to understand that we are always a student, when failure comes we should not be devastated.
Instead, we should learn the lesson, adjust, and move forward more intelligently.
We may be 47 years old and have twelve years invested only to find out we were doing it wrong or in the wrong situation.
There is no age when you will have it all figured out. And if you do have your life figured out, you are probably playing very small and safe, and leaving much of your potential and adventure inside of you.
Mistakes and failures are normal. Learn and keep going. That’s how you get better.
Thanks for the content Larry. I always think about what I know now VS what I knew then, that leads me to being exciting about how much more I can learn in the future if I simply remain the student. If an “OLD” guy like me can do it, anyone can do it!
