What if you were great at work four days a week and one day a week you slacked off?
What if you kept your promises most of the time?
What if you were nice to your spouse five times out of six?
What if you worked out only when you felt strong and energized?
The answers are that it would be very different than if you were consistent.
When you are consistent at a thing you become that habit. People know it and rely on you for it. You build discipline and results that only consistency over time can bring.
Are you consistent in the areas that matter?
Difficult at times! Working hard to be consistently the same day in and day out actually makes your day more efficient. I hear all the time, that I’m the same person every day. Even when things are tough for me I try my very best not to let anyone on the outside see that.
