Saying "no"

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

“To think is to say no.” – Alain

“The art of leadership is saying no, not saying yes.” –

“The difference between successful people and very successful people is that very successful people say no to almost everything.” – Warren Buffett

“Focus is about saying no.  And you’ve got to say ‘no, no, no'” – Steve Jobs

Have you said yes to something you should have said no to?

Dan Kniseley

Lessons others have taught me:
“If you say ‘yes’ when you can, then you shouldn’t frett saying ‘no’ when you can’t.”
“If you must pick yes or no without certainty, pick no; it’s usually easier – and better received – to change a no to a yes than a yes to a no when more knowledge of you choice is obtained.”
Thanks as always, Larry!

I also like Jobs’ quote on focus… If you’re truly going to focus on (say yes to) ONE thing, then you MUST say no to a LOT of things…
GOOD STUFF!! 🙂

Amen to that, those segments are becoming few and far between.
