Zoom out and look back at yourself

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

“You can’t see the label when you’re inside the jar” – Clay Hebert

Leadership is the ability to influence others.  If they don’t think much of you, they will resist your influence.  If they think highly of you, you’ll be able to influence them easily because they trust you and will allow it.

Zoom out of yourself and look back.  Look around.  What are people saying about you?  If more than two people are saying it, you have to assume they have a valid reason for thinking this way, good or bad.

What do you have to do to change what others think of you?

Good morning Larry, I am enjoying your book, Iron Sharpens Iron, on Spotify! I like how you weave adventure, endurance and life principles. As a two wheel off-road adventurer myself, I get the push, the challenges, the suffering and how that ties on deep level (spiritual for me) to running a successful business. Thank you for sharing your talents!

Happy Birthday Larry J.
