When we can step back, listen and then respond to any given situation, we will gain the wisdom needed to overcome every obstacle and fight every battle. It is important to see what is happening, evaluate the outcome you want and then choose your course of action carefully.

I’ve spent way too much time reacting to life, I’m definitely trying to consciously respond now. Like all things in life, it’s an effort! But it’s a worthwhile one. I want to be happy, so I need to make it so.
