Responsiveness is not the same as responsibility. Being available instantly all the time is not the way to get things done as a leader. Find a place where you are unreachable for part of the day or week. Stick to YOUR high-priority agenda and ignore the rest.

Good morning from Alabama! I appreciate the reminder on this one. I like to be available as much as possible to our customers, employees, and whatever else that may pop up, but like you said, it’s not a way to get things done.
Unreachable – Unavailable – Me time – Don’t bother me right now. Yep… Need more of that.
