When you eat a raw plant instead of a cookie, you are making an investment in your body.
When you work out or get your heart rate up with exercise, you are making an investment in your body.
The body houses the mind and supports one’s life.
It’s far easier to have a good life when you have a body that works well.
Can we agree on that?
Couldn’t agree more on this. At the end of November I was the heaviest I have ever been and made the decision to get healthy. Have since lost 58 lbs and getting to the gym 4-5 times a week. Booster of confidence and energy in myself is what has helped with the business aspect of this.
Hi Larry
I agree, lots of fruits and veggies!
Good Morning!!!! 🙂
I decided this was a main goal of mine this year: eating healthier and losing weight. My approach was less about being aggressive and more about changing habits. I’m a a third of the year in and a third of the goal weight lost (right on track). Habits are changing slowly but definitely changing and I’m a lot more conscious about my choices. Do you think this transfers to other areas of my life? You bet!
Agreed!
We too are grateful to the grocery store’s healthy food and for the workers that strive to bring us these produce. Our four adult children all have raised garden beds where they are growing their own healthy fruits and vegetables. How awesome to be a part of healthy activities and to appreciate the value of good food. As the mom and grandmother, I like to bake so everyone does get a unique cookie cutter shaped cookie with royal icing now and then.
I have been eating plant based for about 6 months now, and I have never felt better! I have lost 30 pounds without even trying, which was an added benefit. I am now working on a blog, showing my journey. I love this way of life!
Congrats, Desiree – good for you.
I agree, Larry.
