This should not be a surprise.
If one person is walking or not moving forward, and another has learned to run and is willing to put in the effort, they will get farther apart as the runner keeps going.
The rich get richer because they keep doing the things that make them successful.
The broke stay broke because they keep doing the things that make them broke.
So, learn how to be successful as soon as possible – and keep doing it.

I guess the same could be said for how you spend your time with your family. How you spend your time reading or watching TV. The smart get smarter, the strong get stronger, the faithful get more faith-full. You are where your attention steers. You are who you hang around, the company you keep. It all stems from one thing, you are the decisions you make. Every one, not just the big ones. And thank God for free will and the ability to change your own circumstance.

Your using way to much common sense!
There are other systemic reasons why the rich get richer, and who the richer are in the first place. Unbridled capitalism need not reward the super rich. I am all for free markets, but this POV is a bit callous and carnivorous!
