The second bias is Adrenaline Bias.
Many CEO’s are impatient. They’re drawn to immediate impact – short term fixes.
Fire them. Hire them. Sell the company. Buy the company. Have an urgent meeting and declare a new order; actions that make them feel like they are doing something significant right now.
But “slow down to go fast”. Take the time to address the underlying causes rather than settle for immediate remedies that only address symptoms.
