Ideas Rule

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

It has been my personal experience that hard work and discipline alone do not make your business go the way you hoped to make your dreams come true.  Combine hard work and discipline with the right ideas, methods, concepts, and frames and now you’ve got something.

This is why we need to learn every day.  Sometimes we hear a great idea but we don’t need it in our life at that time and we don’t recognize it.  When we’re stuck is when we need to learn the most.

Ideas come in all sizes and shapes.  There are big ideas and small ones.  Any one can make a big difference, or ALL the difference.  Sometimes we are implementing a good idea and it’s not working.  The idea to make it work may not be a replacement idea, but an idea for how we are implementing the first idea.  We have to get the big ideas right, and then the small ideas for implementing the big idea well.

Sometimes there are ideas that contradict each other.  Read one book and get the opposite idea that another contains.  You have to recognize the right ideas for you, your season of life, and your goals.

Of course, ideas with no action are of no value.  Ideas reward people of action.

Ideas rule.

Very well said. Always looking for new ideas, validation of seemingly good ideas and ways to best implement them.
