In the classic book “Think and Grow Rich,” Napoleon Hill tells us the starting point of all achievement.
The fascinating true story is that Andrew Carnegie, the richest man in the world at the time, challenged a young reporter named Napoleon Hill to find out what made people successful by studying the most successful people in the world for 20 years – without pay. Carnegie only promised to get him an audience with these people so he could interview and study them.
Hill took the challenge, and 29 years later he wrote “Think and Grow Rich.” He identified Desire as the starting point of all achievement. If you don’t want it, you can’t get it. And if you don’t want it bad enough, you won’t persist when it gets tough.
And yes, after all this studying, Napoleon Hill became very successful himself.
How bad do you want it?
Fantastic book and should be mandatory reading in all High Schools!! These days people are worrying about finding their WHY….. Instead find the things that you are passionate about and improve yourself everyday with the desire to be the best you can be. The rest will take care of itself!
