Growth is stressful

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

So is bankruptcy.

Business can be a hassle depending on how you look at it and how you do it. But I’d rather have the victories and satisfaction of having mastered it, than the stress and misery of consistent struggle and ultimate failure.

Learn how to do it right. It’s known – and shared.

“ Learn from other people….you’ll never live long enough to learn it all by yourself “ Thank you Larry! Master piece and Invictus CD….everyone should have this (at least in their car! ) I can’t even find my Ozzy, Motley Crew, Kiss etc Cd ‘s anymore :)) Actually….I put a card in a great coffee shop about signing up for “ Think Daily”. I sent the link to a good friend of the family way out to Poland! He purchased the book……let’s see where that takes it !

Missing messages and phone calls is not always beneficial, especially not during hunting. Job hunting.

When someone asks, I tell them that the beeping is constant. I can not afford to pick up the phone every single time the notification sound goes off. Funny I say this because I am not even employed. But the dishes have to be washed and the vacuuming has to get done. So as a remedy, I keep the sound off. I check my phone when I remember to do so.

The truth is, most of the time I do not even carry the phone with me. Especially not when I want to enjoy my solitary walks in the woods. I am a jobless rebel, so I can afford this type of luxury. A luxury that makes me feel free. Free of the constant interruptions of the world.

Well, this kind of luxury sometimes results in missing important phone calls. I call back (2 days later – Yeiks) and the caller uses the same strategy as I do. Keeps the phone off. So what do I do? I act. I act because from experience I know it will be the fastest way to get an answer.

The message did not mention a date but my sixth sense provides a hunch. I follow it. I show up at an event because the message said I was on the invitation list only to find out that I was not really welcome.

It was a special event and I was not technically fitting the mold. Ups. Did wearing gym clothes had anything to do with it? I do not know. I hoped I could sneak in and blend with the back wall.

At least I got an answer.

I did not feel upset or even disappointed when I was kindly ushered out the door because, I was the one who chose to act.
