Sell your way to the top

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

Is your company good at sales? Are you? If you were out there yourself, you’d see what needed to be done to help salespeople get better. You’d see what tools and products they needed and what roadblocks need to be removed.

Create the best sales team in the industry in your area. It’s a sure way to the top.

How good are your organization’s sales efforts?

HVA – I feel I have 2 potentially great sales people. Now it’s up to
Norway Built to train them my way not theirs.

Larry,

I want to share with you, and thank you for a sales success we recently had. At the last SoE training you went into detail on creating the money fork – clarifying in the client’s mind that the only obstacle is money. Although my remodeling business is different in many ways, I used this process to help clarify the obstacle in a prospect’s mind and closed a $400,000 project. The process of eliminating for them all other questions: confidence in the company, confidence in our warranty; confidence in our scope of work, confidence in our quality – it only left price. I was then able to ask them, in a very conversational way, how much less than us another contractor would have to be to win the work.

They called the next day saying that they were going to forego getting another bid and wanted to sign up with us.

Thank you. Halsey

Andrea

It is always helpful to learn about a good strategy that could be aplied to your business. Makes one think about its simplicity and effect to the final outcome. A good sales strategy also builds trust which leads to a good reputation and more customers. Amazing.
