Getting a team to mesh

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

Employees who eat together in groups are 36% more likely to communicate outside lunch hours.

How about saying “Today we seven employees are having lunch together.  I have a table ready at 12:00 in the cafe.”

(If they leave the building to work for the day, you could do breakfast.)

When people like, trust and understand each other, they make a better team.

What day? Who? Announce it! (and have a little fun!)

Funny how different people act and treat you once they hear something and are told to keep away or better said keep you at a safe distance. This exact reason is why I like to blend and observe people before I decide how much they can tolerate or how they act under pressure.
