I love your quote today. My U.S. Marine Corps OCS Drill Instructor pounded it into us that it takes much intestinal fortitude to become a victor, and permanently discarding the victim mentality that is so engrained these days. He would always ask us if we ever saw a monument made for someone with excuses.
