To grow to reach our potential, we must ovecome who we are now. We must change our beliefs, fight our ego and escape our current self-image. If we refuse to wage this fight, instead accepting it all as who we are, then, we will remain the same.

As I was walking in the forest the other day I passed a man. He looked familiar but I didn’t think much, I kept walking. He later caught up with me during bird watch. I looked at him, and I said out loud: I know you, we met once before, you are Sachin Hazen. I listened and couldnt help myself but smile as he was informing me about his current work and recent relocation to the area. I was invited to his tranquil apartment where we discussed important possible future moves and job oportunities. His simple yogic life style is admirable.
As I left him I had the impression of standing at cross roads. Life is always about choices. Choosing to focus our attention on books is an example. Choosing to act on them is another. Choosing to take any path is never without a battle.
