We have a habit of taking things for granted. We can start to feel ungrateful or indifferent about our blessings, and feel like we won’t be happy until we get more. But of course, if we do get more, the same thing happens.
How can we feel gratitude when we just don’t feel grateful? Visualize your life WITHOUT the things and people that are in it now.
I’m sitting on a couch right now. What if I didn’t have a couch? All of a sudden, this couch feels really good under me.
What would I do without my job? Without each family member? Without my friends? Without my health? Without all my experiences and things that I learned and was able to do so far?
We all have much to be grateful for.
I wholeheardly agree. Looking for happiness in money or things is a fools earned. Happiness is all around us we just need to look and recognize it. For prospective the US as a nation is 5% of the worlds population and we use 25% of the worlds resources even our poorest are kings when looked at in a world view.
