Business goals for 2017

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

What are just two things you want to make happen in your business?

Ok, now define what actions would cause those results?

Create action goals around them for each employee, make sure they know exactly what is expected, keep score of these activites publicly, and hold weekly meetings to report and plan progress.

The beginning of a year is always exciting as new goals are set. If done well (clarity of goals, focus on getting them done and achieving the results one set out to accomplish) it is extremely rewarding to realize the fruits of that effort and realize that the process has made you better and that you get to try and take it to another level this year.

This works on an individual level and the results can be outstanding if leveraged throughout the entire organization.

We are focused on developing new clients and creating consistency in our customer’s experience. Helping our employees to make the distinction between client and customer has been a revelation for us and we are using the Rhythm planning software to accomplish it. We are off to a great start!

Good stuff Larry!

We’ve recently implemented the EOS program called Traction and it has made a tremendous impact on our business. After we established 1 year, 3 year and 10 year goals, we broke them down into quarterly “rocks”, meeting once per week at the same time, same place, same agenda, and actually get things done. It’s a brilliant program because it is simple! Everyone in the organization is becoming familiar with the language and participates in the achievement. There is clarity in the organization like never before, and it keeps getting better.
