The 80/20 Rule says that 80% of the business (work, sales, results) is done by 20% of your team.
Is that true for you?
Do you spend 80% of your time trying “fix” the 80%? That’s a mistake and misuse of your time. Spend 80% of your time with the 20%, and 20% of your time with the 80%.
How do you allocate your time among the 80/20?
Great thought on the Pareto Principle about where to spend your time. I’ve also read about how 80/20 can be taken to a second or third power. If 20% of your customers give you 80% of your revenue that would mean that a mere 4% of your customers would yield 64% of your revenue and so on.
