Your mind will take instruction and do what you want it to do and take you where you want to go.
In the morning, get in a quiet space (out of bed) and declare what you are grateful for. Then think about what you want. Ponder it. Visualize it. Feel it. Be it.
Ask, what is most important now for me to be who I want to be? What do you have to do today to take you to your goals? See it. Watch your best day unfold.
Then go live it.

I have been trying this, and it is an amazing antidote for frustrations that crop up throughout the day…kind of like taking an aspirin a day to keep your heart healthy.

If anyone is looking for a great tool to accomplish this daily ritual I would recommend “The Five Minute Journal”. It is a quick exercise to write down what you are grateful for, what would make today great and also a daily affirmation.

I believe there is nothing greater than starting off your day thanking God for all that he has blessed us with and then declaring what I will do with my day. I think even better, saying it aloud. The spoken word is powerful! Thank you for this wonderful reminder!
