The man in the ring, in the game, in the struggle to do better and achieve worthy goals, should ignore criticism and opinions from the man on the couch.

Even though I’ve been associated with Larry Janesky for decades, and had listened to many if not all of his motivational information, I did not realize that the school of entrepreneurship was so much more.
Even though I’m getting closer to retirement age, I enrolled myself and my two adult children to try to get us all on the same page with a view to them having a good chance of taking the baton and running with it.
Second generation and third generation leadership in small businesses often fail. If you don’t do it for yourself, at least do it for those who you hope to buy you out or succeed you. SOE takes discipline to spend the 15–20 minutes a day and occasionally an hour to do the homework, but it gives you a lot of clarity in very bite sized segments.
Thank you Mr Janesky (uncle Larry:) for what you do to lift all of us, to better our life’s.

This reminded me of Teddy Roosevelt’s “The Man in the Arena” speech, which I heard about from reading Dr. Brene Brown. Such a profound concept, from over 100 years ago. One of my favorite books by Brene – _Braving the Wilderness_.
