Salespeople – two efforts that must be very strong on your part –
1) Ask for the business.
2) Follow-up on unsold proposals.

I received an estimate from my oil company for tank replacement. It took 9 days for them to get me the quote. When I questioned the high price with no itemization, they came back with itemization and lowered the price by $1,000. I will spare you further comment, but I am not impressed with this experience AND I am an oil delivery customer of theirs. This should be an easy sale for them.
