Two men are walking on the Savannah. A lion starts chasing them. One man stops to tie his shoelace.
“What are you doing!?” the other shouts at him. “We have to outrun that lion!”
As the man stands he says “I don’t have to outrun the lion, I just have to outrun YOU.”
You don’t necessarily have to be the best business of any kind in your state.
You just have to be better than your competitors (according to your customers).
How do you do that?
Beyond eliciting memories of Velcro shoes – this Daily really makes you think. Impressions in a digitally connected world are more important than ever, was my first thought, but impressions are built on our response and quality of remediation. Is it more important to have more positive impressions than your competitors to generate leads, or rather, have a higher quality of service to generate better impressions? Or do you prioritize follow-up, in order to gather the impressions for comparison?
I believe the answer is “Yes”.
I do that by doing for our customers exactly what we agree to do for them when we agree to do it for them. Quality, Delivery and holding the agreement gets you the win over everyone else.
