To make money you have to help other people in a way they value and will pay for. Either help a lot of people a little, or a few people a lot.
If you don’t have money yet, figure it out. Learn. Scratch. Claw. Get creative, bootstrap and borrow.
If you don’t do a good job with a little money, you will never have the opportunity to see what you can do with a lot.
Hi Larry,
I want to comment on your blog post about “A” players, they certainly deserve lots of love and attention. Everybody wants a track to run fast on, with signs giving feedback on where they are, what direction they are going and whether they are winning or not and if not yesterday, how to win today. My advice to others is to take action on it, don’t just talk about it and agree. Do something special for your “A” players!

this post is spot on for business owners – literally, you have given us the playbook through SOE – are people smart enough, focused enough and gritty enough to do what is necessary to win the game of business? Sadly, most are too concerned with shiny objects, flavor of the day distractions, or don’t want to work hard/smart enough for that first BIG payday, let alone realize that it just keeps coming after that.
Thanks for all your help over the years my friend!
