Have a problem? (All leaders do).
Rather than thinking about how YOU are going to solve this problem, think about WHO knows how to fix this problem and how they can fix it for you.
Get them on your team. Hire them. Ask them. Empower them. Hire their firm to get them to work on this project for you. Ask them to do it on the weekends. Whatever!
WHO not HOW.
I’m getting better at this type of thinking, but it requires – at least for me – constant vigilance and work. I have a bias for action, but it tends to manifest in an impulse for me to take the action singularly if I don’t monitor my thoughts. Messages like this are relevant and timely. Thanks, Larry.
I highly recommend the “Who not How” book, too! I’m grateful for the “Who’s” in my life.
