It was our wedding anniversary recently (ok, last month). I love this poem I picked up from a wedding card, and I wanted to use it somehow in Think Daily because I thought many would love it too. So I’ll just put it out there.
“Someday when the pictures have faded, the cake is long gone, and the flower girl is grown, you’ll know each other’s secrets, tell each other’s stories, finish each other’s sentences….and you’ll look back on today as the beautiful day that started it all.”

If you are blessed, your spouse completes you. It took me some time to figure out she was my ally; not my adversary. Compromise and love and forgiveness make up for lots of chaos and confusion.
