Don't be a carrier of the negative contagion

Larry Janesky: Think Daily

Recently I was rallying my service team again to sell one of our products at their weekly meeting.  It was our new amazing air purifier.  One of the guys who was the top salesperson for this product, but happen to be in a slump said that “people are holding onto their money and with the economy the way it is…”

I told him it wasn’t about THE economy, it was about YOUR economy.  I told him to turn off the news, get excited and enthused and spread the good word.  His first appointment that day he sold an Aspen air purifier.

That same day a business owner called me for advice.  He needed a bigger building for his business.  He wondered if it was a good time because buildings were in high demand and hard to come by, and interest rates were high, and the economy is bad.  I said “Hold on.  You said buildings are in high demand AND the economy is bad?”  I told him to turn off the news, be the leader, and go get what his team needed to grow and prosper.

He did.

Are you letting yourself be implanted with negativity and thus infected, go around acting that way and spreading the affliction?

All to often people believe what they hear, instead of what they see! I just wonder why so many choose make decisions with only their ears instead of using their eyes too?

Great reminder about the factors, inputs, and messages that influence our perspectives and thus our thoughts and decisions, Larry!
Great message for a Friday morning – Thanks!
