YES – this is SO spot on! Provide clarity, lift the fog, over the horizon perspective, boil it down… whatever you call it, it’s the job of the Leader to make the concept, plan, components of the goal, etc. visible and teachable to the Team for accomplishment.
It’s also the Leader’s responsibility and imperative (and hopefully passion) – to capture and cast the vision for the Team, and to keep the main thing the main thing.
Clarity is inextricably linked with (a) good vision, and lends itself well to priorities and focus – what to say yes to and what to say no to.
Clarity of PURPOSE is what every ‘player’ on the Team needs to execute their function (play their position) well.
The ‘Into the Dust’ movies are almost a video training series on this… They also show how you can succeed, and help others to succeed, when you do – or have done – this well (you’ve perfectly executed your plan).
Good Stuff in a small package here, Larry! Thanks as always!

Yay!!! to The Drying Company!!! Thanks Larry! Just to be completely clear, I’m really excited you mentioned The Drying Company!!!
I try to be clear by repeating my messages over and over again. I think it takes consistency on your message to stick.
