In your relationships, and at work. Have you really sat down with who you need to and had an honest discussion about that?

This is so important and yet so hard especially with a young workforce. These early 20 somethings have communicated more than previous generations but mostly online via social media or some sort of gaming. I call it the last 10%. You say everything but the last 10% or the really hard stuff. I find that I have to be very careful. I am usually direct and just get to the point. However, this younger generation seems to need reinforcement before hearing the last 10%. This is an area I need to grow in.

People say they want more communication but in reality they want to feel a connection with you. Are you connecting…or just communicating???
