Is your ego holding on to old thoughts and ideas and decisions – and doesn’t want to be wrong by you changing your mind now?
Probably.

Absolutely spot on. The thing is – until you are aware of your ego (that silly voice that thinks it’s trying to help you!) – and you can tell it you are a grown-up now and capable of making your own decisions you can’t tell it to shut up!

Hey Larry, I enjoy commenting on the Think Daily’s. Sometimes I get a little long winded in them. I have so much to say! Anyway, glad to be one of the OLD guys in the group. You don’t get to a size “F” (wink, wink) unless you have the skills to be the old buck in the woods. 🙂

While I like to think of myself as being pretty open-minded, I’m sure that I do hold on to thoughts about how things should be done. It’s like when you learn to do things a certain way as a child but then when you grow up you continue to do things the way you were taught. Those habits are hard to break even when you learn there is a better way to do it.
