Work friendships help people (and you) to feel work-life balance.
Employees are far more likely to stay for the people around them; friends that they work with.
At my house when I have a party, it looks a lot like a work party!
Are the people you lead or work with your friends?
Go, Chelsea!
Really? I’ve always held the feeling that it’s prudent to keep co-workers, especially those that work for you, in a different bucket than “friends”. Do you invite the ENTIRE team when you throw a party (so as not to make anyone feel left out)? How do you deal with tough or awkward conversations with a “friend”? Do co-workers ever take advantage of a work situation when they are considered friends (instead of a co-worker)? Mutual trust and respect, absolutely, of course, but friends? That’s a tough one for me.
I know one that is. Put good food on the table invite friends happy times always come next. Always starts with preparation and follow throw to finish.
Grateful for my work friends and our culture!
