A sense of urgency is different than being in a hurry.
For leaders, it often means that you waste no time getting to your Highest Value Activity, and when it’s done, getting to the next one after that.
It means no wasted time in having important conversations and steering the team’s attention toward what is most important now.
It may look like you are working calmly, but you aren’t wasting time on low-value activities and you are moving on what moves the needle – now.
