We are tempted to do the small tasks first each day – especially if we use a to-do list; we get to check boxes and it makes us feel like we are getting things done.
But not all activities are of equal value. The important things that will make a big difference to our future, which may often take more time, concentration, and focus are what will move the needle – and they need to be given priority. They are also the things we like to procrastinate; maybe because we don’t do them all the time and they are out of our comfort zone.
Big things first.
What is your big thing today?
Is that in Connecticut? Would make for a “mighty fine” profile photo. Thanks for sharing, dauly.
This is a great recommendation! I suggest the book Eat that Frog. I read it years ago… easy read it also addresses this very topic.
Thank you for your think daily topics I love starting my day with them!
